The Jordan National Red Crescent Society Community Based Health and First Aid Programme (CBHFA), delivered with assistance from our volunteers, are visiting our Branches throughout the Kingdom presenting on topics relating to personal hygiene and the importance of healthy food.
Today the Programme visited Jerash, presenting the 'Personal Hygiene' campaign, which is delivvered in collaboration with the International Federation of the Red Cross and Red Crescent Socieities, and the Japanese Government.
As part of the Programme, that target 450 students, the children created paintings with their interpretation of the topics, with a competition held for the best painting. Personal hygiene kits were also distributed, including toothpaste, toothbrush, soap, a towel and liquid hand sanitiser. Healthy food was also distributed.
It was another successful visit for the very busy CBHFA team.
