JRC will serve Iftar to 21,000 Syrian refugees during Ramadan

JRC organized an Iftar banquet on the 21st of July for 80 Jordanian orphans, who were accompanied by 350 family members. This is part of a larger project, “Iftar for a faster,” that is sponsored by the Kuwait Red Crescent and hopes to serve Iftar to 21,000 Syrian refugees during Ramadan in Madaba, Karak, Surri, Nua'imah', Ramtha, Shajara, Torra and Amrawa.
The banquet was held at Prince Hashem Park in Hashimi Shamali, and was preceded by granting 80 coupons for (Eid Apparel), each of 50 JD value.
On Friday, another banquet was organized for 600 Syrian refugees at the same location, followed by practical games for their children by the JRC volunteers.
In 2 days, a sum of 400 Eid coupons, each of 50 JD value and funded by the Kuwait Red Crescent, were granted by the JRC.
