Jordan National Red Crescent Society's Community Based Health and First Aid programme visited three state schools in Al Balqa Governorate on Thursday, presenting sessions on Personal Hygiene.
Delegates spoke to 500 children on topics such as maintaining health and personal hygiene. Students interpreted the lessons into paintings, which they entered into a competition for the most beautiful painting.
The children received sanitary bags including toothpaste, a toothbrush, soap, liquid hand sanitizer and a towel. They also received parcels of healthy food, including fruit and milk.
These sessions were delivered in partnership with the International Federation of the Red Cross and Red Crescent and the Japanese Government.
