Jordan Red Crescent Society's Community Based Health and First Aid programme delivered Personal Hygiene sessions to school students in Madaba this week, in collaboration with the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent, and the Japanese Government.
250 students attended the sessions, which included training on the importance of personal hygiene and health. The students used the information to create paintings, which were entered into a competition.
In addition to the training, the students received donations of sanitary bags, that included toothpaste, toothbrush, soap, liquid hand sanitizer and a towel. They also received a bag of healthy food, including fruit and milk.
