A Training course on the alleviation and prevention of violence held for volunteers in Madaba.

The Jordanian Red Crescent/ Community Health and First Aid department conducted a training course in Madaba on Violence alleviation and prevention. The one-day course that was attended by 10 volunteers included, but was not limited to, topics such as child violence, gender violence, and violence among different social groups.

This course comes as part of a one year community health program being delivered at various governorates. The course was aimed at raising awareness that Violence is a complex problem that’s connected to ones moral system, and their behavior which is derived from their relationships, families, and local communities in general.
