Services and Health Care

  • JNRCS helped establish a field hospital in the Syrian refugee camp in Azraq, in partnership with the Iraqi Red Crescent.
  • We opened health clinics with partners, catering for Syrian refugees living outside the camps in Amman. These services a provided for 20,000 beneficiaries.
  • Working with the Qatari Red Crescent, a research project was undertaken on the health needs of Syrian refugees. As a result of this study, we opened specialised clinics for Syrians, which have treated more than 670 patients.
  • Our ambulances have transferred 1764 patients and elderly in and out of Palestine, in collaboration with the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC).
  • We have treated 94 Yemeni patients, in cooperation with the King Salman Centre for Relief and Humanitarian Work.
  •  A clinic for Syrian refugees has been opened in partnership with the Kuwaiti Red Crescent. The first project ran from August 2015 to August 2016. A new clincin project will commence in April 2017, running through to April 2018.
  • The hospital provides 120 beds for patient care.
